I am based out of the village of Chepachet, Rhode Island, one of the deepest, darkest areas in New England where you’re more likely to see a deer than a street light.

My experience in all things I.T. spans over the past 19 years, starting when I began implementing automated printing press technology. Since then I have worked as a help desk technician, network administrator, and A+ Certification Instructor. The last 12 years however, have been devoted to building my skills as a website developer. Wise men have always said to “do what you love” therefore I’m grateful that I am doing it and loving every minute.

I live with my wife and baby girl, as well as Coda, our ever-enthusiastic German Shepherd. When not coding websites, I’ll usually be found playing bass guitar, reading, watching some type of documentary, fishing, or trying to golf (the last of which being an addictive exercise in futility).

Design

When it comes to website design, it's all in the details, and like a musical composition, less is more. Just as each pitch or dynamic has meaning and purpose in a song, so should the layout, color scheme, or font-size used on a webpage. Design supports the site's purpose as much as its functionality and vice-versa.

I will provide a web presence that is effective and functional, that possesses the look, feel, personality, and purpose of each individual client.

Development

Web coding is intuitive and dynamic in that there are many roads that lead to Rome, however, the route that one takes depends on instinct and the circumstances at hand.

Instinctive understanding of scripting algorithms allows me to decipher the logic behind another programmer’s coding style and therefore maintain or troubleshoot an existing site.

On the other hand, clients have their individual needs, which dictate the direction I would take during the development of a brand new website. In these cases, my education and experience would guide me towards creating an approach that is efficeint, logical, and straight-forward
